This is a stylish case with a traditional look and structure. Many features of this item look different from LV products made more recently. These differences are attributed to the French Company that made LV items in the USA during the 80's. The case is a three sided folder of Louis Vuitton monogram toile canvas on the exterior. The interior is a chocolate brown leather. The central panel has a brass top bar with six key clasps. The two sides fold over the central panel and close with a snap allowing the keys to hang externally. So all these moving parts end up rubbing and tarnishing the gold toned hardware. Don’t be surprised that they will rub off, turn black, lose the shimmer, et cetera. That’s just what happens when you rub two metal parts together.
